PEORIA Ill. – From here on out, every weekend in October at the “Wildlife Prairie Park” will be a scary one…
This weekend is the first, for the park’s annual “Scary Festivities” – featuring haunted hayrides, live music, and activities for the whole family – according to the Marketing Director at Wildlife Prairie Park, Calli Dicks.
“There’s a haunted house for those who would like to get a little more scared when it gets dark. Also, we have not-so-scary parks like we have for the last 39-years, so that is before 6pm — for the littles that just want to come out and have fun but not get too scared, it’s perfect for them,” Calli Dicks said.
Festivities start at 4pm — and wrap at around 9pm.
