PEORIA, Ill. – If you love the “Addams Family”, Soderstrom Castle on Grandview Drive is the place to be on Halloween night in Peoria Heights.
An impressive sound and light show began at the Castle over the weekend, but on Tuesday night, actors from Peoria Players will portray characters from the “Addams Family” and the Netflix offshoot “Wednesday”.
The Castle’s Estate Manager Thea Hartzler says trick-or-treaters can get in line for treats at 5, and be entertained by multiple “Wednesdays” dancing on the grounds.
“And, there will be photo opportunities with the whole “Addams Family” cast on the back side of the castle, after you go through the line,” Hartzler says.
With about 4,000 guests expected on Halloween, Park Police and Peoria Heights Police will again be on-hand Tuesday night to help with traffic.
“If you can be here at 5:00 when we open the gates, I highly recommend that,” Hartzler says.
“There is limited parking available on Grandview Drive, but people always seem to figure it out,” Hartzler adds.
Full-size candy bars will be available until 9:00, or until they run out.
