Peoria, Ill — Police say there were minor injuries in the wake of a crash involving a Peoria Police vehicle this afternoon.
A tipster originally notified Traffic One about the crash shortly after 1:30 p.m.
IDOT traffic cams showed the police cruiser with damage to the front-right quarter-panel.
Officers say a driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic, resulting in the crash. No other details were released about the other driver.
No one was taken to the hospital.

Peoria, Ill — We’re following developments in the wake of a crash involving a Peoria Police cruiser.
IDOT traffic cameras showed the aftermath of the crash at Sheridan Road and War Memorial Drive shortly after 1:30 p.m. this (Wednesday) afternoon.
A police vehicle had damage to the front-right quarter-panel.
It’s unclear what, if any other vehicles might have been involved.
We did not see an ambulance at the scene immediately following the crash.
