As a native of Central Illinois, CJ always wanted to be a part of radio in Peoria. Her interest began at very early age while listening to “Gary & Donna on KZ93”. CJ studied Radio & Television Broadcasting at Illinois Central College and truly enjoyed the experience.

She was fortunate to start work while still in school at WMBD-TV as a Floor Director for the show “The Morning Mix”. From there CJ moved to WMBD-AM, where she grew her love for radio and spent over a decade producing shows on the talk radio format. But then, it was time to shine. After a fun run on a Classic Country station, it was onto Mix 106.9. You can hear her on the air Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm and Saturdays from 6:00am to 12:00pm.

CJ resides in Dunlap with her husband, daughter, and three over-friendly puppies.
