SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — If you need health insurance, Sunday, January 15 is the deadline for choosing a plan through the A-C-A Marketplace.
More than 330,000 Illinois residents have selected coverage from the marketplace since enrollment began on November 11.
Get Covered Illinois Executive Director Laura Pellikan says there are hundreds of options to consider at reasonable prices.
“Rates are pretty comparable to last year. I think it really depends on exactly where you live, so we can’t promise that they’re lower in every area of the state, but overall, in general, there’s a modest increase,” Pellikan says.
