PEKIN, Ill. – The CEO of Pekin-based Reditus Labs allegedly missed a court date in the lawsuit filed against him by his former business partner.
25 News reports Aaron Rossi was a no-show Wednesday at what was supposed to be a hearing on a motion by his lawyers to dismiss the case filed by Doctor James Davie.
Davie claims Rossi shut him out of much of the business dealings, and the financial doings, of Reditus. Davie claims Rossi misused some $200 million awarded by the state for COVID-19 testing.
This, as Rossi now faces federal charges of filing false tax returns.
A Reditus attorney was allowed to withdraw from the civil suit. A judge will now decide May second on whether Reditus should be placed in Emergency Receivership — something he wants attorneys to file casework on by April 14th.
