PEORIA, Ill. — No more indoor pizza buffet.
Peoria’s Pizza Ranch restaurant received a cease-and-desist letter Saturday from the Peoria County Health Department, barring them from continuing to serve indoors.
The restaurant, located on N. Brandywine, opened for indoor service last week despite Gov. J-B Pritzker’s phase three orders of the Restore Illinois plan allowing only outdoor service until phase four begins.
The earliest phase four can begin is June 26, according to Pritzker.
In the cease-and-desist letter, the Health Department cited complaints from the public.
Restaurants defying the governor’s plan plan face losing their food licenses.
Pizza Ranch moved their pizza buffet outdoors to a patio setting over the weekend.
