PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say the man arrested for a Monday shooting at a South Peoria business is allegedly connected to a November shooting.
Shiloe Beasley, 29, was arrested on charges of Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in connection to the attempted armed robbery Monday at a Dollar General on Southwest Adams.
One person, who was not believed to be an employee, was shot and injured.
Beasley has now been reportedly charged in a November 17th shooting in the area of Griswold and Krause, where one person was shot and left in serious, but stable condition.
The November 17th shooting also had Annie Jo Gordon Community Learning Center and Trewyn Middle School on brief lockdowns.
Detectives had reportedly noticed similarities between both incidents.
