EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers may be comign to the Peoria area at some point in the future.
A company spokesperson tells our news partners at 25 News there is no site to speak of as of yet, and that means there’s no timeline for construction or opening.
They’re said to be looking at sites in East Peoria, and the company says once a site is approved and a timeline is developed, they will make a further announcement.
Freddy’s is named after the father of the founders, Bill and Randy Simon, started in 2002, and has locations in most of the 50 United States, with stores in Springfeild, Champaign, and the Quad Cities being the closest to Peoria.
