WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. (25 News) – The burglary suspect who died in a vehicle crash in Woodford County early Friday morning has been identified.
25 News reports 38-year-old Jazzmon D. Perdue was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Cruger Road in Woodford County.
Woodford County Coroner Tim Ruestman says Perdue died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries consistent with a rollover crash.
Perdue was part of a trio of suspects that fled from police after Peoria Police officers responded to a burglary alarm just after two-30 A-M Friday in the area of Crestline Drive and Pioneer Parkway.
The trio was seen fleeing into Tazewell County, with the driver losing control of the vehicle on Cruger Road in Woodford County.
The other two suspects were taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
