PORTERDALE, Ga. – Authorities near Atlanta say two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a teen reported missing seven years ago – and one of those was arrested in Peoria.
25 News through sister station Atlanta News First reports, and Peoria County Jail records confirm, that Katelyn Goble, 27, was arrested August 3rd and awaits extradition to Georgia, on charges of Concealment of a Homicidal Death and Evidence Tampering.
Johnathan Warren, meanwhile, was arrested in Los Angeles on those counts and counts of Murder and Aggravated Assault.
Morgan Bauer, 19, was reported missing in February of 2016, her cell phone last being detected near the Yellow River.
The arrests came after authorities searched a home in Porterdale, Georgia, July 27th.
It’s not clear what relationship Goble and Warren had to Bauer – who had only moved to Georgia weeks before her disappearance.
