PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man is facing federal charges after a new local task force found drugs and weapons in a local home.
Peoria Police say Detrey Robinson, 27, faces what were only described as federal gun and drug charges, but it’s not yet clear what.
Peoria Police’s SWAT Team and the new Peoria Area Federal Firearm Task Force went to a home on West Ann Street before 8:00 Thursday night and allegedly found an AR-style rifle, a stolen 9 millimeter handgun with an automatic switch, a .40 caliber handgun, and illegal drugs.
Robinson is in the Peoria County Jail on a federal hold. It’s not clear if or when federal marshals will take custody of him.
