HOPEDALE, Ill. – A female is in stable condition at a Peoria hospital after a reported shooting in Tazewell County Sunday afternoon.
The Tazewell County Sheriffs Department says deputies were first called to the Hopedale Medical Complex Emergency Room around 2:30 p.m., after a male driving a silver 2011 Nissan Versa with Illinois license plate BG23343 dropped a 23-year-old woman off there.
That person, authorities say, is Kaden McVey, 21, and he’s wanted for questioning. He’s described as 6’2″, 160 pounds, with blonds hair and blue eyes.
Details of the shooting itself were not released. The victim was transported to OSF HealthCare St. Francis Medical Center from Hopedale.
