PEORIA, Ill. – Some “developments,” if you’ll pardon the pun, in the life of the Peoria Camera Shop.
It closed near the end of February after its longtime owner, Bill Dobbins, died in December at the age of 61.
But, there’s a new owner of the Metro Center staple, who made the reopening announcement on Facebook.
The new owner, says film processing and equipment will still be available, along with some of the familiar employees, and new items.
Peoria Camera Shop had been open for 84 years. It is expected to re-open later this month.
