UPDATED 4;45 P.M.
MOSSVILLE, Ill. – We now know more about why police converged on a home in Mossville Friday afternoon.
The Peoria County Sheriffs Department says it had been dispatched Thursday night near State and Wolcott for a disturbance call after a woman came home, finding the door had been barricaded and a note left on it described as “disturbing.”
The woman believed her husband did it, leading to some overnight surveillance.
Then, Friday, an emergency response team returned, cleared the home, and determined the man — Glenn Roy, 38, — wasn’t there.
Roy is considered armed and dangerous, having previously been arrested this month for Violating an Order of Protection, Domestic Battery, and Possession of a Weapon.
If you have information on Roy, you’re asked to call the Peoria County Sheriffs Department at (309) 672-6011, or Crime Stoppers at (309) 673-9000.
