MORTON, Ill. — As of Friday, Jan. 8, 17 students were diagnosed with COVID-19, and 77 were in quarantine across Morton School District 709.
Three staff members had coronavirus, and eight were in isolation.
Compared to last week, there was a three student increase of COVID-19 cases and an increase of 51 students in quarantine. Staff members saw a two person increase in cases, and a four person increase for those in isolation.
As of Friday, 155 students were learning remotely.
